sometimes you have to look beyond whats infront of you

Today felt like such an unproductive day. I seriously loafted like all day. Well im exaggerating a bit, but whatevs. Kay, so i went to Costco with the parents and sister Miya. We bought the usual groceries there but the fun part was that after that we went to Toys-R-Us. Seriously, i remember as a kid and that was like Disneyland..okay maybe not. But it was toy central. So yeah, we bought my sister a little kitchen type thing. With like bundles and bundles of fake food, and pots and pans ! Where was this when i was a kid ? HAHA ;] I'm kidding. So i wanted to put it together and i'll tell you a little secret. I played house with my sister after.

It was surprisingly fun, just to forget all the " adolescent stuff " Just to forget it, and just have fun.

My sister doesn't have a care in the world, she is just having fun. I envy her for that, how she doesn't have to think of all the things you wish you havent done, but at the same time.. reminding yourself that everything happens for a reasons. No regrets baby !

I put a smile on my face, to show people that i'm past it. That im growing and moving on. But who i need to prove that to is myself. I have to stop hating myself and ultimately putting myself in this position. People always tell me that i make them smile, and i'm so happy for that. My personality brings happiness but sometimes i'm just disappointed. Disappointed that i'm not happy with myself. I'll find every excuse in the book, to put myself down. And that's something that needs to stop.

God will not put me through something, He knew i wouldn't be able to handle. ♥

Okay, enough with the dramatics,

I need to get focused. Real talks, this is the year that counts. The year that makes everything, will it be another stepping stone or an obstacle.

This is year will be one stressful but one hella fun year, & I'm ready for it !
